 We are introducing a new and exciting approach to maintenance engineering.

The XMExpert connects remote experts to onsite technicians to allow joint problem solving through the use of a helmet mounted display onsite, and a webcam and monitor at the Expert Station. A web link with an expert anywhere in the world can make you feel as though the expert is next to you in the room, guiding you through the problem - no matter how complex - step by step.

The remote expert can do this by using the Expert Station to view exactly what the onsite technician sees in front of him with the portable device. By speaking to each other and using hand gestures, which the technician can see in his displays, the remote expert guides him through exactly what to do to solve the issue.
